Since today is your birthday, I thought I’d write about celebration.
There’s a line I’ve read that directs: “Celebrate the little things.” That certainly makes for more opportunities. I can celebrate having coffee and conversation with you in the morning. I can celebrate when the phone rings and it’s you.
Every time a goal is achieved there’s a reason to celebrate. Those who celebrate the sunrise know that celebration doesn’t require goals.
While not strictly required, celebration seems better with company. Alone, it feels silly to put on a party hat.
I’ve missed too many opportunities for celebration. I’d like to miss as few more as possible – and I’d like you to help me achieve that.
Break out the party hats!
